The wine displays a stunning deep garnet color with a ruby red rim. Primary aromas of ripe red and black berry fruit emanate from the glass. There are notes of dried Italian herbs and tobacco spice in the background. Entry on the palate is marked by juicy berry fruit with a clean mid-palate and a textured finish with notes of cocoa and herbal spice.

This wine is a great companion to a BBQ. Pairs especially well with herb crusted rack of lamb.
